Long time no . . . . blog!

Yesterday was the day that I've been waiting for, for the WHOLE week! It was my day OFF from work! I was looking forward to yesterday like no other! Also, because it was our 10th month anniversary and we were going to have dinner at LA BARCA! Two of my co workers have told me a lot about this place, how good the food is and blah blah blah. So we went!

Before dinner, we went to Hollywood Park to bet on the horsies :) We both came out winners! After the race tracks we went to the fox hills mall in Culver City. I wanted to go to the forever 21 cause I needed to buy new jeans. I ended up getting 2 pair of jeans and black leggins for under $40! I thought that was a DEAL :) 

Then we went to the Sanrio store and we were just looking around and I bought a necklace. I have a similar one that I bought in New York. This one that I bought yesterday, hello kitty is wearing reading glasses! Look! oh oh! AND its purple! The one that I got in New York is pink :)

As I was looking around I saw the new limited edition patent purse! OMG it was beautiful. It JUST came out Friday! They've had the other colors (Pink, red & black) for a while now. But THIS one JUST came out! Anyways, I put the purse back cause I have to save. Im determine to do my xmas shopping BEFORE december! Last year I waited until the last minute :( Anyway, I walked away from the purse and I was looking at other stuff. Then my sneaky ass bf buys the purse for me behind my back!! I didnt want to yell in front of the asians so I told him "Wait 'till we get outside!" When we walked outside the store I was just yelling at him! Asking why did he buy it! We're suppose to save money! I mean the purse isnt cheap, it was a little pricy so I kept yelling and blah blah blah! He was just smiling lol After it sunk in, that I actually had my new purse I was beyond happy! hahaha I said thank you about a million times! Here are some pictures :)

 After the Sanrio store we went to target and I bought my new best friend for $3.39! I have a problem. Every single time that I go out to eat I ALWAYS stain my clothes! ALWAYS! It never fails. I dont do it on purpose it just HAPPENS. Two weeks ago when we went to go eat Korean bbq we saw this elderly lady using this TIDE TO GO STICK! I was like "OMG I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE!" So I bought one :) Bring it on stains!

 After the mall, we went to my old neighborhood! We went to LA BARCA on adams and vermont. The place was small and cozy and the prices are GOOD! Its pretty much, really good food for a good price! Our dinner was $22! For BOTH of us! What a deal. This restaurant is known for their COLOSO BURRITO. Its pretty much a burrito a size of a premature baby! The picture that I took of the burrito gives it NO justice! It looks bigger in person (thats what she said ha) It was so yummy (thats what she said) Ok, Ima stop lol Here are a couple pictures!

This past week Ive been on a hunt for a similar drug store foundation to my MAC foundation. I bought the Loreal foundation and it was too dark so I returned it. Then I tried the Revlon and it was NOT my color, so I returned it and exchanged it for a Neutrogena foundation. This is the SAME color as my MAC one. All the drugstore foundations that I tried are all watery compared to my MAC one. MAC's foundation is so creamy and smooth. Anyway, Ima try this Neutrogena one today and see how good it'll last. Also what I did was that before I exchanged all the foundations, I poured some out into containers (just to keep)! hahaha So, now I have all these foundations in my makeup collection :) Revlon, Loreal, Covergirl? I got it all hahaha 

If you haven't noticed I changed my URL from the old one. So whoever was reading my blog before CANT read it anymore unless they have the new URL :) I have my reasons why I did it. Anywa, I have to get ready for work now. Ugh getting home from work today is going to be insane!

Yesterday after work, me and Soleil went to go pick up my little cousin to go to the X Games! After we picked him up, we stopped by King Taco to grab something to eat. I had sopes and a quesadilla! It was so good! I put this red hot sauce on it, and omg it was SO spicy! I love spicy food and this sauce was just TOO much! My eyes got watery, my nose got runny! lol Ugh, but it was so good! After we ate, we went to the coliseum! Parking was $20, admission was $17. YES, parking was more expensive than the actual admission ticket! ridiculous! Anyway, once we were inside we walked around the whole coliseum to look for our seats. We had pretty good seats! We were right in front of the dirt bike section.

After the X Games we went to Hollywood to go eat at In n Out :) We went through the drive through and we ate in the car :) We were having conversation moment with one of our friends, Sergio :) I cant say what we were talking about on here, but it was very funny and interesting :) I had fun yesterday. Ive never hanged out with my cousin like that, ever! And I haven't hanged out with Soleil in a long time! :) Alright, I think this is it for this blog. Short Random Boring Blog Today

Today is my ONLY day off! I'm bumming it today. I got to wake up late! I've been updating my itunes, folders on my computer, etc. Last night after work I went to my boyfriends house. Before hand we stopped by the red box to rent a movie. They didn't really have any good movies, so we rented THE CRAZIES. The movie was ok for the first 40 minutes, then it just reminded us too much of THE HILLS HAVE EYES. It wasn't even scary. The good thing about the red box is, if you rent a lame ass movie you don't feel bad cause it was just $1 :)

 Tmrw after work ... I'M GOING TO THE X GAMES! I'm going with Soleil and my cousin! My cousin asked me to go with him last year, but I couldn't make it because I was working at the Hollywood Bowl :( But since I'm not working there anymore ... I'M GOING this year! How exciting! Its going to be at the LA Coliseum! Ima take a lot of pictures :) 

Today I was listening to a CD that Sergio made of old songs from back in the day (90's) OMG I swear it brought back a lot of memories! Ok, this is a weird memory but when I first started to drink brisk lemon iced tea that was the same time when I was obsessed with USHER! hahaha I know, its weird! lol Toni Braxton was also in the CD! Ugh, so good! :) What else, what else, Bone Thug! Blackstreet! It made me realized how much I miss the 90's! I think that was my favorite era. I cant say that about the 80's cause I was just a baby :)

What A Week!

I dont know how to describe this week. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst week ever. Thursday before work, I went to the movies with Harold to watch INCEPTION. We went to the AMC theater in Century City! This is another recent favorite theater too! The movie was trippy, interesting, engaging, all at the same time. I liked it. For the first 15 minutes I was SO confused and yeah, just SO confused! But then I understood everything! :) In a way it kind of reminded me of the matrix. Right? or No?

Anyway, Friday night after work Harold and I went to this new Korean bbq place that I've never been to! OMG I loooooooooove korean bbq! Once we sat down, I saw the girl next to me and she was drinking a coke. This was different than every other day of my life that I crave a coke, because this coke that she had just look so appealing and cold and just Mmm GOOD! So, I told my boyfriend that I was going to get one. He gave me that look like "Are you serious??" I ordered it. I haven't had a coke or any soda in 3 years! So, it was a pretty big deal to me lol OMG I took the first sip and it was delicious!

TODAY, I was at work and one of my co workers called me 3 times in a row during my shift. I thought it was strange that he kept calling. I called him back he told me that he saw my car being towed! I swear I didnt believe him for a second! Then he said he wasnt kidding, so me and my other co worker ran our asses to were my car WAS. Sure enough it was gone! There was another tow truck there picking up the car that was parked behind me. I asked the man, where the hell my car was and he gave me the card to the place where my car was. Then he offered to take me there but I told him that I had to go ask my manager if it was ok for me to leave. I asked the man to wait 10 minutes while I asked and he said that another tow truck was coming to get the other car, and that I could ride with him. So, that gave me time to explain to my boss what had happened. She was so cool about it, she told me to drop everything and go get my car, and to come back whenever I was done :) I was in a rush to get to my car because the man told me if I went to get it right after it got towed it was only going to be $209 but if I waited to get it later in the after noon, I was going to have to pay $250! 

After I got the ok from my boss I went outside to look for the other tow truck, and he was right there towing the other car. I told him that the guy before him told me that I could ride with him. He said ok. He didnt look scary to me, so I wasnt hesitant to ride with a complete stranger. Although, before I had called my brother if he could have taken me to the place to get my car since he was so close (he was at the hollywood bowl). He of course said no. What a brother, right? Then I called my boyfriend and I explained to him what was going on and he even offered to go and just to be there for moral support. I told him that it was ok, that I was about to go get my car and I told him I was going to call him back. 

After the man was done hooking up the car, he told me to get in. I hoped in and thats when he started with all the questions. He asked me where did I work, what did I do there, what movie we were playing, how long have I worked there. I was SO not in the mood that I kindly told him that I didnt mean to be a bitch but I really did not want to have conversation moment. All he said was "OH, its ok its ok. No worries" Then it was just silence until I got to the place. When we entered the garage he told me that they have auctions every thursday if I was interested. I swear I got out that truck so quickly, he probably thought I was the biggest bitch ever. Oh well :) I went to the window, paid my fine of $209 PLUS and $80 ticket :( Then I got my car! I felt like my kid got kidnapped and I paid the ransom up front via mastercard! hahaha  Then as I was going to work I pulled over and I called my mother and boyfriend. They both felt bad for me so they offered to help with $$$ :) While I was talking to my bf on the phone I told him that I needed a hug and he said "Ok babe, but your arms out ..." Then I just started laughing lol He wanted me to pretend to hug him! haha He's too cute :) he made me laugh :) Then I headed back to work. Of course everyone and their momma knew what had happen. I swear that place amazes me every time on how news travels SO fast! Its crazy. 

THEN after work I went to the farmers market to have dinner with my mom! :) Then we went to go see SALT! Another really good movie! I didn't like the ending, but the whole movie was just a trip :) Go see it! ... Now I'm here at home on my moms laptop again. Im getting the hang of it now :) OMG there are so many birthdays events to go to this month, its not even funny. I got invited to 2 more this week coming up. I'm not sure if I'm going to go yet. I probably should since they're pretty cool people :) Speaking of birthdays, I was thinking about MY birthday and what to do. I have a couple ideas set up already but I don't want to say them yet cause people steal my ideas and what not .... ha! :)

On other news, Im thinking of coloring my hair in a different shade! I've been wanting to go to sallys for a while and look at their kits and different colors. I need a different color. Change is good :) Alrighty, in that note I shall leave! Goodnight!!

Aint Nothing But A Gangsta's Party

My laptops charger completely died on me. Im using my moms laptop as I type this. Im not used to this one :(

Alright, so last week I went to Fredricks in Hollywood because one of my co workers told me that they have really good quality bras and they have cute colors and blah blah blah. So, I went and the sales associate was the nicest lady ever! She gave me a very cold bottle water and she helped me out a lot! I ended up getting these 3 colors. They were 2 for $49 :)  After fredricks, I headed over to work. During my shift my bf went to the 4pm show with his sister. Ive never met this sister before, so I was really nervous lol She was really nice! And my bf bought me the other hello kitty purse that I wanted! Its so pretty :)

These are my two lovelies! I got the white one for myself and he got me the black one :) If you want one they have them at the Sanrio store in Hollywood for $65 each! GO! GO! GO!

After my bf and his sister watched the movie, they waited for me until I got off from work and we went to go eat. I thought she was going to ask me a million questions, but she didnt :) She just asked a few. She kept saying that it was good to finally meet me though :) She also told me that next month she got a lot of tickets to go paint ball shooting in Hollywood. She said all her siblings are going, my bf's friends, everyone is going. So I told her I was going to go :) Its a little intimidating to meet his close friends and family all in ONE day, but Im gonna do it! :) 

This past Saturday I met Harold's mom for the first time ever.  I didnt know I was going to meet her that day. He text me early in the morning asking if we could take his mom to the market. I said yes of course but I was scared lol She ended up being the nicest lady ever. She was so sweet and nice! Anyway, it was very nice to finally meet her :)

Sunday it was one of our co workers birthday dinner at El Cholo restaurant. I went with Harold. The only reasons why I went to this dinner is because the birthday boy always goes to MY birthday gatherings, he's a good friend, AND cause he said he was going to kick my ass if I didnt show up. Other than that, I would have NOT gone for shit. When we walked in and I saw the people that were there, all I could do was just take a deep breath in. Some of the people that were there could just fall down in the deepest ends of the earth and they will not be missed! Ugh. 

Im glad a couple people went though, they made the night fun lol After the dinner, me and Harold went to the beach. It was nice :) It was a little creepy in some parts of the beach but other than that, it was nice :)

::Sighs:: Today is my day off :) This is my first day in a really long time that I stay home all day long on a day off. My parents were so happy that I was home :) My mom wants to go out and eat, but I kind of just want to stay in and watch a movie or something. Im tired of always being out and about. I need a little break :) Oh! Yesterday after work, Sergio, Harold, and myself went to go visit a co worker of ours who just had a baby! OMG baby jake is the cutest baby ever! omg! She was telling us that before she got pregnant everyone kept asking her "When are you going to have a baby??" Now that she has a baby everyone keeps asking her "So, when are you going to have the second one??" Thats so stupid! Its like hello! She JUST had the baby! Crazy people!
