Was NY a dream?!?

This morning I had to get up early for school. I felt like my whole trip to NY didn't happen. Like if it was just a dream that came and left in minutes! I walked into class feeling uncomfortable and out of place because everyone was on the same page and my mind was still in NY. After 15 minutes of just sitting there in class, my professor walked to my desk and she handed me a stack of papers of things that I missed from the last 3 classes (I missed 3 classes. A week and a half of school). She must really want me to pass that class, because other professors would have said "Oh well, that's what you get for going to NY. Now, you have to catch up on your own." Thank God for this professor! :)

Today is Veterans Day. I thought we didn't have class today, but we did. My professor had a meeting so she dismissed the class early. Thank goodness cause I was falling asleep in there! Maybe its still jet lag, who knows. Later on this afternoon I have to go to work. We'll see how that goes. While I was in NY several people text me saying that we have a NEW flavor icee at work lol I thought that was funny :) I'm not going to lie, I missed a couple people from work ... just because they make me laugh at the dumbest things haha

Earlier today I got an email from live nation saying that they're going to have a presale for Jay to izzo at the staples center. I would LOVE to see Jay Z! But shit's expensive :( If I want good worthy seats, it'll cost me $250. Yes. In other GREAT news, I got my deftones ticket in the mail while I was in NY. Cesar text me while I was in NY and he said "You got an envelope from live nation. Can I open it?!" lol I do that to him too. When he gets something in the mail I text him and I ask if I could open lol It feels like Christmas when you get to open it :) Anyway, I said that yes he can open it and he told me that it was my deftones ticket. Now, I need to go buy my deftones ticket for night ONE. The one that I got in the mail is for night TWO. My friend Jessica is going to night TWO with me! Im so excited! The last time we saw Deftones together was a couple years ago at the gibson. That night was fun :)

My brother's birthday is coming up, thanksgiving is coming up, BLACK FRIDAY is coming up, more shows are coming up! This is going to be a busy BUSY month for moi! I asked for a lot of days off too. Oh! and my birthday is coming up next month too! I have to go hunt for the perfect karaoke joint! I'll probably do the hunting after black friday (I think).

Here are a couple things that I forgot to mention in my previous blogs about NY:

• 97% of people in Manhattan wear black. Black coats, black suits, black dresses, EVERYTHING is black!
• Business women are well dressed but when they're on their way to work they have on sneakers to walk faster in and their stilettos are in their bag. 
• Speaking of walking fast, everyone in NY seems like they're always in a hurry. They're in a rush to catch the subway, to eat, to go to work, to pee, etc. A New Yorkers life is very fast paced! 
• OMG there is literally a CHASE bank/ATM in every block! Im not exaggerating! Ive never seen SO many CHASE (previously known as washington mutual) bank/ATM in my life! There's maybe a couple of bank of america's here and there, but CHASE is the big winner there!
• There's also a hot dog stand in every block! They sell hot dogs, pretzels, and nuts in all of those stands! Also in every other block, they have vendors selling "designer" bags. I wanted a yellow bag, but no one had one :(
• If you go to NY take your student ID (if you have one!)!! You'll get discounts on many places! Even at clothing stores! Yes! Take your ID!
• Take comfy shoes! Your ass is going to walk A LOT! I mean A LOT! You're going to walk more than you've ever walked in LA in a month! You have to climb up stairs A LOT! You're going to have to walk EVERYWHERE! Be prepared!You have been warned!
  
• At first, the subway system is a little confusing but you WILL get the hang of it! Its pretty simple after a while.
• To get I ♥ NY shirts for $3 each or 5 for $10 go to CHINATOWN! That's the cheapest price that you're going to get in NY for those shirts!

I think that's all that I wanted to say. If I remember of other things I'll post them up later. I'm definitely going back next year! Im just going to go for a weekend to shop shop shop! OMG when I go back next year, im not stepping a foot inside a MAC store! Im going straight to INGLOT! That store is amazing! I'll be more than happy to spend my money in that store :)
