I love love LOVE this weather!

I just got home from school. I went straight to bed and wrapped myself in my warm blanket, and here I am writing a blog. I LOVE this weather so much, you guys have NO idea! =D I haven't written a blog in a couple days, so here we go!

This past weekend I went to the knitting factory, Friday and Saturday night to see THURSDAY. I've never seen THURSDAY live before, so I was pretty excited to see them LIVE! Especially at the knitting factory, because they're going to be closing/moving soon. Friday night I met up with my brother in Hollywood before the show. We walked to El Cap to use the bathroom, and Sergio was working in the box office. We stopped by to say hello lol

Then we started walking to the knitting factory. When we got there, I thought there were going to be more people waiting in line. There were about 20 people in front of us. While we were in line there were 2 kids behind us with their mom. The mom thought she was the shit cause she's taking her kids to a show. She was so annoying. She kept talking to them like they were 3 years old. It was irritating. Thank God the line started moving right after! When we got inside we sat down by the bar, and just waited for the show to start. While we were waiting my brothers friend Sidney walked in. So he came over and sat with us too. I met Sidney a couple months ago when he went to go see UP at El Cap, but I've never really talked to him until that night of the show. He's so cool and friendly! Cesar (my brother) left us for a while cause he went to watch the game at the bar. So me and Sidney were there talking, and then the first band went up. OMG they (Comadre) were horrible. I wanted them to just stop playing. After Comadre played, The Deer Hunter were next. I liked them. The Deer Hunter will be opening up for THRICE, so I'll be seeing them again shortly.

After The Deer Hunter, Fall of Troy went up. They were ... bad? I thought they would be better live, but I guess not. After Fall of Troy, THURSDAY went up! Oh man! It was intense! I loved it! They had so much energy and passion! You can fucking feel it in the room! It was amazing! Everyone was singing to the top of their lungs! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Here are a couple pictures. My camera was on its rag or something, cause it was not being nice that night.

The next day, Saturday, I went to pick up Sergio at El Cap cause we were going to go to the AMC in Burbank to go watch PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. After I picked him up, I made a pit stop at the Hollywood Palladium to buy my Dashboard Confessional ticket. Cesar told me that they open the box office at 10am. So, me and Sergio got out of the car and we see the big ass line for Blink 182. The line was around the block! So, as we're walking, this rude, bitch ass man stops us and asked where we were going. I said that we were going to the box office. Then he said "Oh, the box office opens 2 hours before the show starts" But he said it very rudely. Stupid biotch. Then I said "Ok" So, we left.

Once we arrived at Burbank I was so freakin scared to watch the movie! I wanted to see it, dont get me wrong, but I was scared! hahaha When we went inside the theater, I had to force myself to pee before the movie started cause I didn't want to piss my pants during the movie. Fuck, once the trailers were over my heart started beating I KID YOU NOT! hahaha After the first 40 minutes of the movie, that's when the creepy shit started to happen. OMG I clung on to Sergio's leg like no other! I was freaked out! At the end of the movie I couldn't see the last part, I had to cover my eyes. Fuck that. It was TOO creepy! Overall, did the movie scare the shit out of me? Uh . . . YES!

After the movie, we were STARVING. Like all the other days, we didn't know what to eat. I wasn't going to eat panda again. So, Sergio said "Oh, I know this one place in Glendale. It's like a Diner" I said "OK, I love diners!" When we got there, it turns out he was talking about Outback Steak House. THAT IS NOT A DINER hahaha he tricked me! The food was good though! I liked it! Mmm! While were paying, Cesar text me that he was at the knitting factory again, to see THURSDAY. Then I thought, "Awww! I want to go again!" So, I asked Sergio if he wanted to go. Of course he said NO. So what did I do? I stopped by a gas station and I made him clean my car windows for not wanting to go! hahaha He actually did it too. I have it on camera! It'll be on youtube after I finish this blog! lol After he cleaned my windows, we headed over to Hollywood. He left his car there, so it worked out. When we arrived I told Sergio "Fuck, I'm NOT wearing the proper clothes for a show!" I was wearing this girlie vest/sweater thing and FLATS. Thank God I had a hoddie in the backseat of my car! I took off the vest/sweater thing and threw on my hoodie. I couldn't do anything about the flats. I've never gone to a show before in flats. I knew my feet were going to hurt by the end of the night =( After I changed we went our separate ways! I walked over to the knitting factory and he went home (how BORING! hahaha jk Sergio!)

Cesar left my ticket at Will Call, so I walked over to the box office and I picked up my ticket. When I went inside OMG it was so hot stuffy in there! It was NOT like that the night before! There were 2X more people there than last night. Anyway, I went inside and they were setting up the stage for FAR to go up. I showed up right after TOUCHE AMORE played. Cesar wanted me to see them, cause he claims they're so good. I'll see them another day. When FAR took the stage, I had to step outside for a couple of minutes, I couldn't breathe in there anymore. When I went back inside, I finished watching their set. They were really good! After FAR, Thursday took the stage! Oh man, I powered walk my ass to the front! When I got to the front there was this couple in front of me. The guy was covered in tattoos and the girl had dressy khaki pants with a white shirt and a coach purse. I thought "WTF are you serious?!" I mean, I was wearing flats, but that was an accident cause I didn't know I was going to the show! This girl was dressed up from head to toe. Anyway, right before thursday was about to go up, she asked me, "Are you excited? Have you seen them before?" I said "Yeah, Im pretty excited. I saw them last night for the first time" Then she said "Oh! Thats cool! Yeah, Ive heard them on Kroq a lot" Then I thought "They never play thursday on kroq! WTF is she talking about?!" Then I looked away cause I didn't want to talk to her anymore. OMG once thursday started their set, I SWEAR ON ANYTHING her boyfriend pushed her ass out the way and he started singing his little heart out! LMAO I started laughing! lol His girlfriend just moved against the wall. I thought that was funny, cause most boyfriends when they go to shows with their gf they try to protect the girl from getting kicked in the face. But NOT this guy! LOL he fucking pushed her ass out the way! LOL Hilarious! Here are a couple pictures from night TWO!

 

 

 

 

 

Goodbye Knitting Factory!

Yesterday I had work from 12:30pm - 5pm. I was concession lead in balcony. I had 4 of the best ppl working with me upstairs, thank the Lord (and Debbie!)! Everything went smoothly! An hour before I was supposed to be off, I went to the office to get change and our guest services lady (Jo) was telling Manny (Another concession lead) that if he needed people stay longer that he can keep them. I volunteered myself to stay! So I worked until 8:46pm. After I closed the snack bar upstairs, I moved downstairs to the the orchestral level. It was fun! Aldrich (another concession lead) was singing the whole time! He was singing toy story songs lol (HI ALDRICH!) Aldrich and Manny were telling me their story about the night before when they went to dennys and they all had to take a shit cause they ate cheese. I swear, Ive never met so many lactose intolerant people in my life. (Aldrich claims he's not lactose though) That sucks for them, they cant enjoy CHEESE freely! Cheese is the shit! Its GOOD! Mac n Cheese! Cheese sticks! Pizza! CHEESEburgers! Mmm!

Anyway, after work I went straight home! After I parked the car I had a craving for a salad! So I got back into the car and I drove to ralphs (the one behind the wiltern). They have a salad bar, where you put whatever you want in the salad. So I walked over to the salad bar and its GONE! There was nothing there! I was so sad! I guess they were about to close the deli section and they took the salad bar away! =( So, I walked around and I grabbed my arrowhead and a kit kat lol The OPPOSITE of what I was going to get lol Im going to go later on today to get a salad. I want one, dammit!

Today is a holiday. Little kids didn't have school today. I had to go to school though! My dad had the day off too! So, this morning my dad woke me up and he said "You're going to be late for school!" I said "Ok, Im up!" Then he said "Im going to make you a ham and egg sandwich, so you can take them to school" Awww!!! That was the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!! hahaha I got out from the shower, and I walked over to my bed and he had put 2 ham and egg sandwiches wrapped in foil paper and inside a zip lock bag inside my purse! =) That was so nice! Then as I was walking out the door he walks over and gives me a hug! Awww! My dad is the fucking GREATEST!

Alright, I'm going to go now. I have to edit a couple videos to put on youtube tonight! and OMG Sergio just left me the most funniest voice mail EVER! I think that's the best one that I've heard yet! LMAO!! That's Nene for ya! ha!

Last Night Was AMAZING

Yesterday at work, Fredy, my co-worker at the bowl asked if I was going to go up to the bowl to go watch Depeche Mode. I said YES. So I told him that I was going to wait for him in my lot until he was done in his lot. Once we closed our lot, I sat in my car and waited for Fredy to finish. Once he was done, he came over the lot. While I was getting out of the car I asked him if I should take my camera. I wasn't sure if I wanted to take it. He said "I don't know, its up to you" Then I said "Uh .... I don't know! I don't know!" So then Fredy said, "Do you want to flip a coin?" I said "Ok!" Then he flipped the coin and I called heads and it landed on heads! So, I took my camera.

Once we were inside we had to wait about 30 minutes for DM to go on stage. So, we just talked about random stuff to kill time. DM took the stage at 8:50pm! They had the same set list as the night before. Dave looks pretty damn good for his age! Anyway, the show was suppose to be over at 11pm. Fredy had to be back at his lot by 10pm. I had to be back by 10:45pm. So when it was close to 10pm Fredy left and I stayed.

Ten minutes after Fredy left my brother text me and he said "I JUST MET CHINO!" I couldn't believe it!!! 20 seconds after I read the text I see Cesar (my brother) and Julio (Our friend) walking towards me and they're both talking at the same time telling me that they just talked to CHINO and he was SO cool and blah blah blah. The whole time that they were talking I just kept thinking "CHINO IS HERE AT THE BOWL!!!" While Cesar and Julio were telling the story over and over I kept telling them "TAKE ME TO HIM!! TAKE ME TO HIM!!!" So after a while of asking, they walked me over to where they last saw him. When we walked over, I didn't see him!!!! Cesar said "This is where I walked him to!" HE WASN'T THERE!!!! =( I was SO bummed out!!! Then I thought "Fuck that! I've been wanting to meet this man for a LONG time! I'm going to look for him!" So I told Cesar and Julio that I was going to go look for him. I walked around and NOTHING. I was about to cry a little! Then I stopped and I look around ONE last time and THERE HE WAS! When I saw him I ran to Cesar and Julio and I told them that I found him and that I was going to go talk to him! Cesar and Julio didn't want to go with me because they didn't want CHINO to think that they were bugging him. As I was walking over, I didn't know what I was going to say! I was so nervous and NERVOUS! OMG, that was the greatest moment ever!!! I walked up to him and I tapped him on his arm and he turned around and I don't know what I said but we shook hands and then I just hugged him!! Right after I hugged him, Cesar and Julio showed up! hahaha! and Cesar said "This is my sister!" hahaha He "Introduced" me to CHINO like if they were friends lol That was so funny. Then I took a picture of Cesar and Julio with CHINO.


Then this lady that was with him (his agent) said "What is this a photo shoot?! Are they bothering you?!?" and CHINO said "No No, its ok" Then it was MY turn to be in the picture! But out of nowhere this OTHER HB employee goes up to CHINO and says "Hey dawg! I need get to get a picture with you CHINO" and CHINO just said "Ok, sure" Then my brother took his picture with MY camera!


Then it was my turn!!!! YAY! Oh man! That was amazing! After we took the pictures, we said our thank you's and good bye's and we left. OMG I haven't been that excited to meet someone in a VERY long time!



I don't know what time it was, so I decided to head back to the lot. When I got to the lot I told everyone! They don't know who CHINO is but I didn't care, I had to tell someone! hahaha I called my friend Jessica who is the biggest fan ever! She has the white pony (Album cover) tattooed on her stomach and she just loves CHINO! So I called her like 24 times and she never answered! hahaha then I called my pregnant friend and I woke her up! I said my apologies later lol I told her that I just met CHINO and that it was the greatest moment ever!!! and then I told her I was going to call her tmrw cause she was half asleep! =D THEN I called Soleil and I text my other friends! Oh man, it was AWESOME!!! CHINO MORENO!!!!

When the show was over people were walking back to their cars and Julio parked in the front at the lot where I work in. So I was there keeping an eye on his car, cause there was this ONE asshole who kept honking because he couldn't get out because of Julio's car. So I told the guy "HEY! Stop honking! There's no one inside the car!!!" (Julio was still inside the bowl) And the guy stopped honking for about 15 minutes. THEN he started again. So, I called Julio and he said that he was walking back down. So when he got to the lot I told him to NOT move his car, cause that guy was being an annoying asshole with his fucking honking! So me and Julio were just standing there in the middle of the lot while all the cars were leaving. OMG it was too funny. Julio was directing traffic! hahaha OMG, I should have recorded it! Dammit! hahaha He was like "One at a time! One at a time!" hahaha Oh man!!! I was just standing next to him laughing! I was laughing the WHOLE time! Oh man!! hahaha GOOD TIMES lol

After the lot was empty me and Julio drove up to the bowl, since I had to go clock out. We we're also on a hunt for Cesar. Then after we found him and after I clocked out, I called it a night. I coulnt wait to go home and show my mom! lol

I'm so going to keep talking about this for the next week! Ahhh!!!!!
