The Ugly Truth

I've been wanting to get my bangs cut for a couple weeks now and I always lag it and I never go! But today I finally went to the salon! I've been to this salon ONCE before to cut my bangs and they charged me $10. I thought it was going to be MORE because this place is so fancy. So I went back today to get my bangs cut. I walked in and the receptionist said "Hello, is this your first time?" I said "No, I've been here once before" and she said "Who's your hairdresser?" and I told her "Um . . . I don't remember his name! I know where his station is though!" So we walk over to his station and there he was! hahaha He was working on someone else when I got there. So he tells me to have a seat, and he brings over a couple gossip magazines and a bottled water. So, I'm sitting there reading about heidy's photo shoot with playboy then he tells me "So, what do you want done today?" I said "Um, only my bangs. Like last time" Then he examines my hair and he tells me that my ends are damaged. (I already knew that. I KNOW that they're damaged lol) So he tells me if I want to trim the damaged part. I said sure. So he tells me "Ok, You have to go change" I said "what? why?!" So he walks me over to this wardrobe place and he tells me "Pick a color" and I picked pink. He hands me over a pink robe to put over my clothes. Then he walks me over to this girl and he tells me "She's going to shampoo & condition your hair. I'll be here when she's done" I said "Ok" Then the girl starts to shampoo and hair and she's massaging my scalp. I swear I wanted to fall asleep SO bad! After she was done, the guy, Brian was standing right there and he walked me over to his station.

Then he started cutting away. While he was cutting there was this other girl in front of me getting her hair permanently straight! I saw the whole process of how they do it now! It was very tempting! Her hair was SOOOOO straight!!! It was beautiful! And everyone that works there they all look so fierce and flawless! I wanted to take a picture but they would have thought I was a weird tourist or something. ANYWAY after he made my hair look fab we headed over the receptionist and he hands me a paper to fill out and it was a VIP membership application. He read the paper too fast, so I couldn't understand the benefits of this VIP membership. After I filled out the paper they handed me a VIP Member card. He told me that ppl are suppose to go back every 2 months for trims. (I didn't know that)

After I left, Sergio called while I was walking to the car and he told me that he was at a movie shoot. He said it was horrible. I offered to show up and kidnap him but he said he was going to give them until 5pm. I told him ok, if he changes his mind to call me. Then around 5pm ish he calls and I talked him into ditching that shit and go to the movies! So he did =) He picked me up and he just VENTED about his day =) I like when other ppl other than myself, vent. Everyone needs to vent at some point! Today was Sergio's turn.

We went to the Americana to go watch THE UGLY TRUTH. The movie started at 7:15pm We were there around .... 6pm ish. So we were walking to the movie theater to buy our tickets and Sergio see's Gabriel coming out of the movie theater and he says "Hey, isn't that your friend?" and I look over and sure enough it was Gabriel! hahaha How random! We walked over and he was with his friend and he introduced us and all. And Sergio asked him "Oh, did you guys watch a movie?" And Gabriel said "No, we're going to. Which one are you guys going to watch?" And we said THE UGLY TRUTH at 7:15pm! And Gabriel said "That's the one that we're going to see too!" So then I said "Ok well, we'll see you guys inside!" After we bought the tickets we walked around to kill time.

We went into urban outfitters and ALL of their shades were $10!!!! I'm SO going back and I'm getting my leopard print shades that I wanted a while ago! I'm going back I tell ya! =D

THE UGLY TRUTH was a good movie. It was very funny and informative if you may lol I'm a sucker for these love comedy movies! . . . Ugh, tmrw I have to go back to work =( The good thing is that it means that I'm one day closer to our Lake trip this Saturday! It's going to be FUN! That's one of the reasons why I'm not going back to work next summer at the bowl. I want to enjoy my summer! I took it for granted before! Sure, I make a couple extra buck$ at the bowl but its not worth it anymore. I want to have FUN FUN FUN! =)

I finally got a 98 eyeshadow pallet! Yay!!! I was going to get one online, but I really don't want to spend money on shipping. SO my brother took me to Ross today and I got a 98 eyeshadow pallet for . . . guess how much! .... GUESS! . . . . $7.99!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! The eyeshadows are so pretty! They're not chalky and cheap. They're very pigmented and silky and PRETTY! I love it!

Before we went to Ross, me and my brother went to AMOEBA and he's been eying the white pony vinyl for days now. So, today he got his tax return money as well . . . So he got the white pony vinyl. It cost $125.00 + Tax. The cashier said "Wow, this is the most expensive thing that I've ranged up! I feel like a should bow down to it!" hahaha My brother was jumping around like a little girl hahaha I got to open it first! It's so pretty and red! hahaha


My bangs Day #2

New Hair! (Not Really)

I went to go cut my bangs! I like them! The place was very fancy dancy. I loved it! When I walked in, it was PACKED! There were a lot of people waiting. I told the front desk lady that I just wanted my bangs cut a little. So, she took me to this other part of the salon, where I was going to be getting my hair cut. She took me to this guy named "Brian Song." He was very nice! He took my purse and placed it on the counter. He asked me how I wanted my bangs, and I told him . . . then he just started cutting! It was fast, it was about 5-10 minutes. After he was done he gave me his business card, and he said to call him whenever I want another hair cut. Overall I give it a 10 out of 10! That's how much I like this place. I'm definitely going to go back. I'm thinking of going with them to dye my hair. They don't use harsh chemicals that damage your hair! So, that's a plus =)

I also went to Sally's and I got the extensions! I only grabbed 2 of them and when I got home I noticed that the third one was stuck the one of them, and the cashier didnt notice either so I didnt get charged for the third one! The extensions were on SALE! I didnt even know until I was in the car and I looked at my receipt! They were 2 for $5. The extensions are 18; inches long. At first when I saw them I thought that they were going to be too long, but when I tried them on they were perfect. I really liked them a lot. Im going to wear them to Disneyland! I also got a stainless steal tail comb, and a round brush. I got the round brush because thats the one that the hair stylist guy used to blow dry my bangs. He said it makes it shiny.
I went to Costco last night. Part of me was hoping to find MAC eyeshadows, but the other part of me was hoping to NOT find anything so I wont spend money! There was NO MAC =) I was relieved hahaha If they would have had MAC eyeshadows available, I would of grabbed a couple of them for sure. Last time, that I went to Costco they had 4 MAC eyeshadows for $10. I grabbed all 4! Yeah . . . I know. Shame on me.

I got a B on my essay! =D I thought I was going to do bad! But I didnt =) SO, since I got a B I'm going to go get my extensions tmrw! Wooo! I'm treating myself to extensions hahaha I want to cut my bangs tmrw too. I have this one place in mind. It looks very decent, like they KNOW what theyre doing. Its called "Kim Sun Young Beauty Salon" Its here in koreatown. I called and they said that I dont need an appointment . . . so . . . . I'm going to go tmrw since I dont work nor go to school. I'm excited =D

I labeled my pallets! I labeled them because it's a little annoying when I want to know the name of an eyeshadow and I have to lift the magnet up and I always end up scrapping the eye shadow with my nail. SO I just made it easier for myself and labeled them. It looks pretty! I'm going to do this for all of my pallets, including my blush pallet. I want to be more "Organized" hahaha

I Slept like a BEAR

I got home from work at 5:30pm YESTERDAY, and I woke up at 6:30am TODAY. 13 hours of SLEEP! Yeah . . .

Guess What! . . . I didn't convince Soleil to go to New York, I forced her to go! I know that she really wants to go! and I really want her to go! SO, I figured "If her ticket, with HER name on it magically appears in her hands, then she has NO choice BUT to go!" And she said it herself "If I have a ticket then they (dad & mom) cant say no!" So it's settled. She's going. We're thinking about going around November-ish. That way we have more time to save up. I'm freakin excited!

I've been thinking of cutting my bangs because they're seriously getting on my nerves. They're uneven and stupid! I think im going to cut them, SOON. I want them to look like this!

We'll see how that goes!

While we were watching No Doubt videos at Sergio's house, Soleil told me that Gwen made her want pink hair! And I told her "ME TOO!" In middle school I really really wanted pink hair JUST BECAUSE Gwen had it, and it looked so pretty! So . . . before we went to Sergio's house that day, I stopped by Sally's and they had these 18' inch pink extensions for like $3 they're just little strands. They look like pink highlights. I want to get them, just to see how it looks! This is how they look in the package. Im going to use them as "Peek-a-Boo" Highlights!
