Dashboard Confessional

If you read my previous blog, I had a dilemma yesterday. BUT, I ended up going to the dashboard show! It was incredible! The girl that was selling her ticket on craigslist for $60 emailed me back and she said that the girl who asked for the ticket before me flaked out on her. So, I TOOK IT! We exchanged numbers and I told her that I was near the front of the line. She showed up, alone. I asked her how come she had an extra ticket and she said that her boyfriend was suppose to go with her but he had to fill out his UCLA application by that night so he couldn't make it. After the 10 minute chit chat, it got a little awkward so I started talking to my brother and she started talking on her phone. The thing is that she had to stay there with me because the tickets were under her name. When the line started moving, they asked her for her ID to get the tickets and they told us that we were on the wrong line. We went to the other line because she's "VIP" After she showed her ID, we went in and we had passes to go up the VIP balcony area. I didn't even bother, I went to the pit with my brother.

While we were in line my brother bumped into a girl that he met at hot topic before. Her name's Lacey. She reminded me SO much of one of my friends! OMG hahaha This girl was cool though :) Also while I was in line, this guy came up to us and asked us if we wanted to listen to his band. He was the SAME guy that came up to us at the Avalon when we went to go see THRICE. I told him that I had alrady signed up and that I met him at the Avalon. Then he said "Oh cool! Are you going to go to our show on the 6th?" I said "Yeah! Its $10 right?" He said "Yes! :)" Then he went about his business promoting the band.

Anyway, this was my first time at the troubadour. It's so small! I thought it was going to be like the house of blues or something. It was perfect though, Chris was in front of my face the whole night :D First, New Found Glory went up. Im not a fan of New Found Glory so that part was just blah. After they finished their set, they started setting up for Dashboard :) Chris came on stage and I was expecting to be pushed and shoved, but NOTHING happened. Everyone was decent and cool about it. Everyone just stood there in awe. It was awesome! I didn't have someones junk rubbing up on my back, I didn't have girls boobs bouncing on my back. It was great! Everyone sang loud and clear to every single song. It was incredible. Chris kept smiling and talking to us throughout the show like if we were old friends. At one point he saw this one girl in the crowd trying to take a picture of John, and Chris grabbed her phone and said "Here, I'll take his picture for you!" hahaha That was cool :) OMG, rewind! When we were in line, my brother told me that the girls that were in front of him spent a good 10 minutes or more putting on their makeup in line.When I got there, I saw that shit for myself! These girls were NOT touching up their makeup. They literally had their little revlon eye shadow pallet, full size brushes, everything! I couldn't believe it, omg. These girls had to be at least 17 - 18 years old! These bitches had push up bras and low cut shirts. OMG these bitches are crazy and desperate. They think that by slapping on pounds of makeup and wearing a push up bra (which didn't help one bit, cause they had NO boobs what so ever) Chris is going to notice them and say "Hey sexy want to go out for tea after the show?" NO! That's not going to happen! First of all, he doesn't want to go to jail! Second of all, your mommy is going to be waiting outside for you. Third of all, you have to go to the restroom and change and take off all that makeup before your parents see you outside! Jeez!

Anyway! During the show, these SAME bitches take out their revlon eye shadow pallete and they start putting on ANOTHER layer of makeup! OMG, I really couldn't believe it! They didn't even have the decency to go to the restroom and do it in private! They were in front of the stage. What a disgrace. Overall, I had the best time ever! I love dashboard with all my little greasy heart! :) His songs are amazing and he's amazing! It was funny because my brother went gaga over Chris! haha It was too funny lol There was also this thug life guy behind me singing to every song! It was a little weird cause dashboard has more of a girl fan base lol THEN there was this couple in front of us they're married and they had matching dashboard tattoos. They looked like real nice ppl :) Here are the pictures and videos! :)

Oh! After a couple songs John came on stage with a cardboard box filled with little dashboard confessional shakers! He was handing them out ppl in the crowd and THEN he dumps the shakers right on top of me! I got like 5 of them. They're cool! They look like little eggs :)

After the show me and my brother had to take the bus back to our cars because the parking in west hollywood  is seriously a nightmare! I parked by santa monica and curson and parked by santa monica and western. As we were walking outside the venue, we see the bus! We started running! We j walked ran! We ran in FRONT of the bus and the bus driver was about to take off and he almost HIT me! I know, it was my falut for running in front of the bus lol but STILL! hahaha I was about to get hit by a bus!! Then me and my brother get on the bus and the man starts yelling at us! "What are you doing?! You're not suppose to run in front of my bus!!!!! I was about to hit you!!!" I was so embarrased, cause everyone in the bus was staring lol Shit, we had to get on that bus cause it was almost midnight and those buses pass like every hour! Fuck that. As we were on the bus this crazy homeless women gets in front of the bus too! And she starts banging on the window! She was yelling "YOU have my bag!" and the bus driver didnt open the door, so the women started yelling again! I was like "WTF is going on" It turns out that the homeless lady left her plastic bag in the bus and she caught up with the bus driver (I dont know how!) When our stop was close, I told the bus driver "Im sorry I ran in front of your bus" I said sorry because I knew he was having a bad night with all those crazy ppl at night lol The bus driver told me "It's alright" Then my brother started laughing lol

There was a 711 near where I parked the car. So we went in to buy snacks. When we came out of the 711, my brother said "Wow, that's the gayest 711 I've ever been to!" lmao Because while were in there, a lot of gay men couple were in there. They had on some TIGHT booty shorts and tight everything! hahaha It was funny. What do you expect? Its west hollywood lol
