Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! (Blog #99!)

I went shopping today after work! I went with Yuliza. We were going to go to Old Navy but we went to go eat at this spaghetti place first, which is close to Ross. So we went to Ross instead. I bought a couple of shirts, a backpack, and a little Betseyville case. Oh! During lunch I went to MAC to get 2 eyeshadows for my pallet. I went with Sindy! Omg, it was embarrassing lol So, we walk into the MAC and I walk over to the eyeshadows and Sindy walks over to the Hello Kitty plush dolls. Sindy tells me that the HK plush dolls are 40% off! (At MAC the prices are NOT visible. You either know the prices by heart or you have to ask) So Sindy yells from across the room the one of the MA's "How much is this?!" and the MA says "Its $26" and Sindy says "Its $26 with the 40% off?" and the MA says "Yes, Do you want one?" and Sindy says "NO" hahaha So we go back to the eyeshadow section and she starts playing with the shadows. I told the MA that I wanted "Sketch" and "Rule" in pallet form. While she's getting the shadows, Sindy asked about the new gel blush from the ROSE ROMANCE collection. I told her that its a gel that you dab on onto your cheeks. Sindy asked if it was greasy, I said no. When the MA comes back she asks Sindy "Would you like to try it on?" and LOL Sindy says "NO!! I DONT WEAR MAKEUP!" hahaha Omg, lol Yeah, The End. Thats my story about my trip to MAC with Sindy! hahaha

Blog #98

I haven't written a blog in a couple of days. So, here it goes.

"Earth" came out this past Wednesday, it has been pretty insane at work. There has been buses and buses filled with little kids from a lot of schools, who went to go watch this movie. I worked a mid shift on Wednesday and it was crazy. There was a lead in the balcony from 8am - 2:30pm and that person is not a lead very often. So, when I started my shift at 2:30pm I walked in into disaster! They were going to let in for the next show and the VIP tubs were NOT done. Two of the registers needed change. The fridge wasn't restocked. I felt like I had to do 392 things within 10 minutes! I'm not going to lie, I panicked a little. I just don't like to be thrown into something without me knowing whats going on. OH! here's the BEST part! The 7pm show was SOLD OUT and I only had TWO people working with me in balcony. TWO people. I could NOT believe it. Its very frustrating, VERY. Anyway at the end of the shift, everything turned out ok.

Yesterday after work I went to Burbank with Sergio & Soleil. We went to go eat at Hometown Buffet. I was so hungry, that everything tasted good. I was so full by the time we left. I felt sick to my stomach! So, we walked it off. We walked around the shopping center. We went to Marshalls. That was my first time there. It looks a lot like ROSS, but more expensive. After we went to Michaels! Yay! I bought magnents for my pallets and stuff. It was so much fun in the store! We took pictures with cowboy hats, hard hats, pirate hats, tiaras. I had a lot of fun. I felt like a kid again =) After Michaels, Soleil noticed that they had an ULTA there! So we started walking there. When we got there, it was closed! =( I was so sad. I really wanted to go inside. Stupid ULTA! They close early on sundays =( Booo!

After our little trip to Burbank, we went home. I was so tired by the time I got home.

This morning I woke up from the most random dream ever. I'm not going to tell my dream, but just know that it was very random. School was very depressing today. First, my English teacher seemed sad because a lot of people have been absent from class lately. The teacher just had this look on his face, like he felt hurt that people didnt want to be in his class. I felt bad for him. He's a very nice man.

After my English class I went to the computer lab, and I started to feel a little warm. By the time I got to my Music class, I felt the fever. My throat started to get soar. I was going to leave class early, but I didnt. I stayed. My music teacher's friend passed away this past wednesday from parkinson's disease. He said they were friends for 40 years. He said that they played together on stage back in the day. He kept telling us stories about his friend. He seemed very sad and distracted. He told us that when his friend became famous that everyone wanted to be his "friend" Then he told us to think about who our TRUE friends were. He gave us a lot to think about. Then I started to think about who my REAL friends are. Who my acquaintances are and what not. THEN he told us "Live your life guys. Life is way too short" Then I started to think again. The vibe in music class today was just so, sad.

After class was over my dad said he was going to pick me up. In my head I said "Thank God!" Because by the end of class I didnt feel good at all. I had a headache, fever, soar throat. I felt like crap. When I got home I fell asleep for a little bit. When I woke up, I turned on the news and the SWINE FLU was seriously ALL over the news. They kept mentioning pigs, the symptoms and blah blah blah. I got a little scared because I have those symptoms! But Right after I saw the news I took Tylenol and Nyquil and I feel a little better right now. Im just sleepy again. I'm going to knock out once I'm done with this!

Tomorrow I have to go to work AGAIN. Tmrw theirs going to be a lot of kids packs =( Oh well, thats what I get paid to do right? I should stop complaining about this job cause there are other people out there with NO job what so ever.

I'm freakin TIRED

After work me and Soleil went shopping. We went to MAC first. I bought 4 eyeshadows and the brush cleaner. I didn't get anything from the new collection. I changed my mind at the last minute. After MAC we went to forever 21 and I got 4 LA color nail design polish and I also got 3 earrings! They're so pretty =)

After the shopping was done we went to go eat at Denny's with Sergio. Dennis Rodman (look a like) escorted us to our table. After we ate Sergio dropped me off at amoeba. I had to meet my brother there. When I found my brother we started walking down sunset to go to the Depeche Mode show. OMG that line was HUGE! There were thousands of people there! It was insane! The good thing is that the line was moving really fast. When we got to the front of the line, they gave us wrist bands and we went inside. We got there a little late so we were towards the back on the left hand side of the stage. They played 7 songs.

I found the solution!

I FINALLY found the solution for storing my STILA eyeshadows! I put them in a CD! yes! a CD! Now I can start filling up my MAC pallet again! Wooooo! =D

Before I went on spring break last week, I had to turn in essays for my English class. The professor graded them over spring break and he gave it back to me TODAY and look at these grades! Woooo!!! (I covered some parts because I know that some people from work read my blog and I don't want the WRONG (manager! .. you never know!) person to read what I wrote on my essay because I might get in trouble or something.)

On another very irritating note! It's freakin HOT AS HELL today!!!!! WTF!!! I really REALLY don't like this weather!!!!! It gets on my NERVES!!!! Ugh!!!!! OMG! I was going to go to MAC today to buy myself some goodies (because of my grades) but I didn't feel like going anymore because it was so damn HOT! I came straight home and put the AC on! =( I wish I could just fast forward to NOVEMBER =(

On another note . . . Today I was at the bus stop and I was listening to Weezer and unconsciously I started singing out loud. After the song was over, I realized that there were people behind me! OMG, how embarrassing lol Oh well! hahaha

Why cant it be like this everyday?

Today at work was crazy! but it was SO under control! I liked it! Only snack one was open. Sindy was the lead and I was a regular concession person. But the GREAT thing about today was that they literally gave EVERYBODY so many shifts for this week! Everybody has 30 hours of more for this week coming up! YAY! Everybody was so happy! hahaha Kim (our guest services person) went upstairs with her folder with open shifts, and OMG everybody ran up to her to get hours! hahaha it was funny! I picked up shitfs! Wooo! I thought we couldn't pass over 30 hours but now, we cant pass 40 hours! Yay! Money! Money! =)

P.S. I was indoors with the AC on from 8am-4:30pm and when I went outside OMG it was HOT as hell!!!! Geez!!!! Omg! I REALLY dont like the heat =[ go away!

Love/Hate Kinda Thing

Do YOU have a love/hate thing with something/someone? I DO! With WORK! I love that place, but I also HATE it! I love because time goes by fast when I work with certain people. ONE of the MANY reasons why I hate it, is because of SOME of the people that I work with!

Today I was _ _ _ _ lead, and he really pissed me off today. He always annoys me because he never wants to do anything! But today, he just crossed the line. So, I left management know about _ _ _ _! This manager told me that they were going to have a meeting with him regarding my complaint. I told the manager that I never EVER want to be scheduled with _ _ _ _ again!

After work my dad came to pick me up. I drove from work to my house and on our way home I was telling my dad the WHOLE story about _ _ _ _. I speak span-glish with my dad. He understands me lol I need to speak more Spanish. I feel like I'm forgetting a lot of the words. I speak English 98.9% of the time. I'm going to try to speak more Spanish from now on =)

Yesterday after work me, Soleil, & Sergio went to the americana to watch 17 AGAIN to see Perez's bb Zacquisha! The movie was ok, if it wasnt for a certain actor the movie would have SUCKED. That's all I have to say about THAT.

I went to target . . .

and I bought more stuff. I know, I know. Ok so I bought a new plastic container. This one is to put my pallets (Urban Decay, Quads, MAC) in. Then I bought a Physicians Formula Blush in "Blushing Berry" I bought it cause it looks cool! Their a bunch of little balls, and you just roll your brush around them and VOILA! Then I bought 4 little ... tin buckets? I dunno. They were $1 and They were 75% off! So I bought 4 of them! I dunno what I'm going to use them for yet. I'll find a use for them, I promise!



I also went to ULTA to return the leopard print hair straightener. I returned it because it pulled on my hair =( I dont like that. So I got my money back! AND I exchanged my NYX eyeliner for a NEW one =) Yaaaay!

Tmrw should be FUN!

I Have ISSUES

I went to ULTA because I just HAD to get out of my house. I was so bored. So I went to ULTA and omg, I did some damage to my wallet =( I spent $66.50 I was going to use this money to buy MAC stuff tmrw, but NOT ANYMORE! MAC has to wait until next week =)

Ok so, you know that feeling in your heart when you see someone you really like? That feeling when your heart feels like it skipped a beat? Ok, well that's how I felt when I saw the NYX section at ULTA! (I told you, I had issues) I spent at LEAST 30 minutes in front of the NYX section looking at EVERY single eyeshadow, liner, lipstick, etc.! The ladies that work there probably thought I was stealing something because I was there for a while! Oh well. I made them $66.50 richer.

I wasnt scheduled to work today, but they called me in this morning because this girl called in. So I worked from 10am-5pm. I was in Guest Control today. Guest Control is pretty much the person who takes your ticket at the front door. Anyway, it was only four of us working on the floor (2 in concession, one usher and me) The guys went to lunch together, so I stayed on the floor until they got back. I was in the front of the door and this really cute guy came in! He had tattoos! He had plugs! He was so handsome! He came in and I asked him "Hi! How can I help you?" and he said "Hi, I'm looking for a 10.4oz tub" I said "um . . . I don't know about sizes!" so I went behind the snack bar to show him the only tub that we have and he said "Yeah! Thats a 10.4oz tub!" Then he said "I need a tub because we need it for a shoot across the street" I said "Ohhhh Ok" and at that moment this couple (Tourists) walked in the door and I said "Hello! How can I help you?" and they said "Oh we just want to look around" and I said "I'm sorry you need a ticket to come inside!" And the cute-guy-with-tattoos said "yeah! This is not a fucking museum!" LMAO! The couple didnt say anything at ALL they just left. Once they left all I said was "wow" hahaha and the cute guy said "ok, I'll take the empty tub" so I charged him and thats it! He was gone! He was sooooo CUTE =)

Hollywood Bowl!

Today was my FIRST day for this year at the Hollywood Bowl! They had an Easter/Service/Church thing today at the bowl. It was just me and Gio today. The people that showed up today were SO nice! Everyone was very friendly, and they followed my directions! It was awesome. I would say 90% of them were white people and 10% of them were Asians. There was this one family that parked their car on our lot, and they had this little boy and his dad said "What do you say to the nice lady?" and the little boy says "Happy Easter!! .... Look at my toy! (hulk) I have the movie at home! Do you want to see it?!" and I said "Sure!" then his dad starts laughing. THEN the little boy says "I'm learning spanish! ... Listen, uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, DIEZ!" I was like "Wow! thats awesome!" and his mom said "He knows more spanish than me! Yesterday he corrected me in my spanish!" hahaha That little boy was so cute! That family was so nice! This family reminded me of one of my co-workers (Nick) because he told me that when he was little he had really blonde hair (The boy from today had REALLY nice healthy blonde hair!). He also said that when he gets kids that he's going to teach them different languages! So, it remided me of him.

OMG!!!! Guess what! So every weekend my dad lets me drive to work. So today I took the car and I got on the FREEWAY!!! WOOOO!!!! It was awesome! The freeway was meant for MEEE! I love it! Before I got on the freeway my dad said "Ok, pray so we wont crash!" lol The funny thing is that he was nervous and I wasnt nervous at ALL! I loved it! I really want to get my license now so I can get on FREEWAYS! Woooo!

I went to work this mrng. NO, I wasn't late! hahaha When I first got there the manager told me "The first show, is a buy out. We have to make 800 hot dogs, and 1,000 vip tubs" I said ok. This wasn't a big deal because wev'e done it many times before. I was in balcony and Sindy was in orchestra. Im up there making nachos and Sindy calls and she says "You better come down to the soda fountain!" and I said "Why??" and she said "The oven broke and we have to make the 800 hot dogs at the soda fountain!" Omg, people were cooking hot dogs in the breakroom's microwave, the managers office microwave, boilers, grills, ANYTHING that we could cook hot dogs in! It was crazy! I dont know HOW we finished on time, but we did it. I swear, the WHOLE room smelled like hot dogs. It was discusting.

After the whole fiasco happened, one of my co-workers said that she had something for me in her locker. I asked her what it was and she said that it was 2 hello kitty plush dolls that Mc. Donalds gave out in 2000. I was like HOW COOL! So before I left, she gave me the dolls! They're so cute! I love them! And they're both still in the plastic bag! Im never going to open them!


After work I came straight home! I watched "YES MAN" It was good! I really liked it! It was very inspiring. Right? The hollywood bowl came out =) I never thought the hollywood bowl would be a romantic place to take someone, because I'm always there when theirs thousands of people. I guess it is! That scene where the hollywood bowl came out was one of my favorites =)

Speaking of the hollywood bowl! Im working there tmrw. Yeah.

SPRING BREAK this week coming up!!!! Woooo!!!! (I make it sound like I'm going to party like a rock star. But I'm not lol I dont have any plans YET. If you want to hang out, CALL ME!)

5 and a half hour nap. Last night we went to Disneyland . . . man, it was so tiring, I swear! I'm pretty sure I walked more last night than I did at Bamboozle! We (Sergio, Soleil, & Ali) went to California adventure first. I've only been to California adventure ONCE and that one time that I went, I only went to ONE ride, which was the white roller coaster. This time I got on several rides. I got on the Tower of Terror for the first time! Since it was my first time, Sergio took advantage and took the liberty to scare me every chance he got! That wasn't nice! hahaha After that, Sindy & her girlfriend showed up! Then we headed over to Disneyland. The first thing we went to was the food court by Space Mountain. We were starving! After we ate we went to the CANOES! That was awesome! It was so much fun! (I'll put pictures of that) We went to space mountain and I swear we made line for that crap for about a little over 2 hours! It was crazy! But while we were making line, it was so much fun lol We came up with so many silly games lol Around 10pm we went to go eat again. We ate chicken nuggets with fries! We were eating while watching the fireworks show. It was pretty cool =)

We left the theme park a little after 12am. OMG on our way to the car, there was this old lady on the trolley . . . she was SO annoying! Geez!!!!! I was already a little annoyed and she just put the cherry on top! OMG I wanted to push her out of the trolley! I cant even explain how annoying she was! You guys had to be there. As we were leaving the parking lot, Sergio got onto the 5 freeway and it was closed! So he had to get on the 91 which led us to go ALL the way around! It was crazy. I finally got home around 1:30am I was sooo TIRED!!! I almost called in for work today! I had to go in at 8:30am. I barely woke up. I really didnt want to go today. When I got to work, it was a MAD HOUSE. The first 2-3 shows were pretty much sold out. Then I was moved to the balcony and blah blah blah. It was horrible. I think if I wasnt tired it wouldnt have been so bad. Tmrw I go in at 7am =(
